FamilyBonds is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your family relationship calculations and learning activities are personal and should remain private.

Data Collection and Storage

What We Collect

Nothing by default. FamilyBonds operates entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information or calculation data to our servers.

Local Browser Storage Only

The following data is stored only in your browser (using IndexedDB and localStorage):

• Your relationship calculation history
• Quiz progress and scores
• User preferences (dark mode, font size)
• Recently viewed relationships

You control this data:

• Clear it anytime using your browser settings
• It never leaves your device
• We have no access to it
• It's deleted when you clear browser data

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics (privacy-focused analytics) to understand:

• Which pages are visited most
• General geographic regions (country-level only)
• Device types (mobile vs desktop)

What we DON'T track:

• Individual users
• Personal identifiers
• Calculation details
• Search queries

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your personal data on our servers, there's nothing for us to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over any data stored in your browser.
